TAAD believes that design is much more than a solution to an immediate need. It is a means which allows us to express ourselves, weave wonder into our everyday life, and transform our home into a constant inspiration.
TAAD was founded in 2024 by Maria Nasimov, an art historian, curator and advisor, with the intention of opening a gateway between the global design community and the local audience of design enthusiasts. Redefining the role design plays in our everyday lives, TAAD acts as a bridge, connecting Israel and the world-wide scene by breaking down barriers and preconceptions.
TAAD sets uncompromising standards in both taste and quality, re-instituting Tel Aviv as a cultural center. TAAD was established in response to an existing demand in the Israeli market for unique, high quality design, impeccably made and with immediate availability. Through establishing connections between art connoisseurs, local talent, collectors and galleries, TAAD envisions a cultural horizon in which all possibilities are open.
TAAD launches its first fair with an exhibition centering around the theme of “Everyday Wonder” (March, 2025). Highlighting objects which elevate everyday routines and rituals, the exhibition is curated by Maria Cristina Didero, one of the leading global design curators.
